How to Cook Sausages Perfectly Every Time

1 Digital thermometer

  • Preheat your oven to 190°C/375°F.
  • Brown the sausages in a cast iron pan until golden brown on each side.

  • Put the whole pan in the oven for about 10 minutes.
    Check the internal temperature of the sausages by inserting a digital thermometer horizontally into the sausage.
    Once the sausages reach 68°C/155°F remove them from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes. The temperature will continue to rise to 160°F/71°C which is the desired safe temperature for pork sausages.
